Petra Museum Mobile Application

A mobile application of the Petra Museum is now available on both Google Play Store and App Store.

The Petra Museum Application navigates users around eight galleries of the Petra Museum, where 40 objects out of 300 displayed at the museum galleries are explained by both written text and audio narration in Arabic, English, and Japanese. In addition, 3D images of ten selected objects, and three video animations are available on the application. The video animations, developed with the advice of the distinguished Jordanian archeologist, Dr. Kairieh Amr, display important historical practices during the Nabataean era as well as Jordanian folklore. Full contents are available in the Petra Museum, but some contents are available outside of the museum.
